"Waiting for the Khat Delivery"
State sponsored drug addiction keeps Djibouti frozen in time. No uprising, no industry, no moving forward or having the revolution that will move a society forward--KHAT (QAT) keeps a society languishing in an apathetic drug stupor.
Kevin Fedrko of "Esquire" wrote an interesting article about how KHAT permeates the nation of Djibouti: High in Hell: Chewing Khat in Djibouti. Interestingly enough, in a review of Mr. Fedrko's article on "World Hum" there was a comment left by a reader. The reader was HENOK TILAHUN, a general manager of the Khat Exporting company in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). He not only extols the benefits and purity of his product but he goes on to say he has it in abundance and would like to make contact to export it to your country or a country near you.
