
The year started out great and then a good old second summer set in. The late November temps climbed to almost convertible weather and all hopes of a powder filled season melted away.
I'm headed for a long ski vacation without snow.
However, the good news is there is still hiking - if you are willing to brave the possibility that you will be hiking on the mountain when God decides to answer your snow prayers.
Apparently all towns in Austria have indoor all season ice rinks. The prospect of terrorizing all the locals at their local rink seems almost as fun as skiing. However it does nothing for my desperate need for sun and fresh air.
And then there is the
Spa. The "WATERS" are all natural, in a cave, and the air is full of RADON -- which I always thought was bad for you.
The web page explains that it accelerates cell metabolism through its short-wave rays. I still don't know how that can be good for you.
