Maintaining Technology

I've never really thought about how time consuming it is to maintain technology but I have effectively spent most of today maintaining all the "STUFF" that electrons is made of...

I also discovered that this webpage was linked to an incorrect email address -- for the last year. Go figure and sorry to anyone trying to email me through that link. It's now fixed. Mike - that's for you... and for the record, I would never ignore you.

That said, the new HD TV is set up, the Blue Ray is ready, the DVR has been reprogrammed, all the photos are loaded on Flickr, email has been read and deleted, and the last thing to do is organize all the podcasts. AND ... I think the single worse time-suck invention is the Blackberry.

I suppose I should have appreciated prison when I was there -- I never realized technology would start running my time off.

As soon as I can figure out how to get spell check back on LIFETRASH more posts are sure to come. Because the pay-by-the-hour hotel by my house has an entire cast of characters that are begging to become internet famous!

I still have to set my clocks from Day Light Savings. Maybe that should be next.

Ain't technology great? I tell ya, all of these devices that have been invented to save us all a bunch of time seem to be having an opposite effect. But, I still like all the gadgets.

BTW, how many remotes do you have now? :-)
